1. Information You Provide

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash — we never store or have access to your plain-text password).

Brand Brain / Business Information: During onboarding and through the Brand Brain feature, you may provide your brand name, industry, website, target audience details, brand voice preferences, content pillars, platforms, goals, offers, and key messages. This information is used to personalise AI-generated content for you.

Generated Content: Content you create using Creator Studio, along with saved library items, calendar entries, ideas, hooks, campaign data, and other content you generate or input through the Service.

Communications: If you contact support or submit feedback, we collect the information you provide in those communications.

2. Information Collected Automatically

Usage Information: We track which features you use, AI generation counts, and subscription activity to enforce plan limits, provide usage analytics in your Settings, and improve the Service.

Technical Information: Standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These are used for security, debugging, and service operation.

Cookies & Local Storage: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and local storage for theme/display preferences. We do not currently use advertising or third-party marketing tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and provide CreatorPilot features
• Personalise AI-generated content using your Brand Brain data
• Process your subscription and payments
• Enforce usage limits and plan entitlements
• Provide customer support
• Improve and develop the Service
• Communicate with you about your account, service updates, or support requests
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats

4. Service Providers & Data Sharing

We use third-party service providers to operate CreatorPilot. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it:

• AI Processing: We use AI language model APIs to generate content. Your prompts and Brand Brain context are sent to the AI provider to generate responses. We do not use your content to train AI models.
• Payment Processing: Subscription payments are processed through Razorpay. We do not store your full payment card details — Razorpay handles payment information directly. Razorpay's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
• Hosting & Infrastructure: The Service is hosted on cloud infrastructure. Your data is stored in managed databases with encryption in transit.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information except as described above, or as required by law.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated through CreatorPilot belongs to you. Your Brand Brain data and generated content are used solely to provide and personalise the Service for your account. We do not use your generated content to train AI models, nor do we share it with other users.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure password hashing, server-side authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible under Free plan limits. If you delete your account, your personal data, brand data, content, and related records are permanently deleted from our systems. Some data may be retained in server logs or backups for a limited period for legal or operational reasons.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You can:

• Access & Update: View and update your profile information in Settings. Edit your Brand Brain data anytime.
• Delete Content: Delete individual content items from your Library. Delete calendar entries and ideas.
• Delete Account: Permanently delete your account and all associated data through Settings → Account & Data.
• Data Requests: Contact us at [email protected] for data access, correction, or deletion requests.

9. Children

CreatorPilot is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
